Hi, I’m Alexa and this is a Marketing Minute on customer experience marketing.
As technology evolves, the bar is rapidly being raised for more intuitive user interactions. So, what are some tips for a successful Customer Experience Marketing strategy?
First, don’t mistake service for experience. Experience requires you to think from the outside-in versus inside-out.
Second, recognize that consumers’ have huge brand influence today, so consider strategies, like Co-Creation that provide them the opportunity to have a seat at the design table.
Third, through employee advocacy, build a culture of customer empathy and understanding. Give staff the opportunity to experience your customer’s experience firsthand versus in reports or department meetings.
Fourth, make sure that all of your digital properties allow and foster two-way conversations versus – just pushing out one-way brand content.
And finally, make sure that whatever your marketing message is, that your brand can deliver on that message. Trust is really everything today.
