Brian Walker is the CEO of AE Marketing Group. His day-to-day focus is on growth. This includes both AE Marketing Group’s performance as well as our customer portfolio’s performance. He regularly advises the C-Suite on the best strategies to meet their unique organization’s goals in today’s changing economy. Brian’s background includes a mix of technology, research, sales, and marketing. He has experience working in both large corporations and fast-growing start-ups and boutique agencies. In 2011, Brian founded AE Marketing Group and led its multi-million dollar growth, including three straight years on the Inc. 5000 – the list of America’s fastest-growing private companies.
Brian Walker is a frequent speaker at industry events and company workshops. He also hosts the Brand Lab Series™ Podcast, which was named the “Top Business” and “Top Technology” Podcast by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts at the 24th Annual Communicator Awards. He often shares his expertise on topics like enterprise branding, sales and marketing alignment, co-creation, B2B vs. B2C mindset, marketing ROI, customer experience, employee engagement, and more.
Brian Walker leads customer ideation and co-creation workshops to improve product design, employee engagement, and customer experience. While leading these workshops, Brian often plays the role of a therapist between a business and its customers to help them better manage expectations. Through this approach, companies can harness outside-in design thinking and build empathy between employees and customers. This strategy creates a lasting impact on brand loyalty and revenue.
Brian Walker is an avid traveler, philanthropist, and father to the “A” and “E” in AE Marketing Group. His favorite cities around the world include Tokyo, Cape Town, Paris, and Rome. Unfortunately, coronavirus has kept Brian from his next destination – Antarctica, but he hopes to step foot on the continent soon. Brian has served on a number of non-profit boards, overseen AE Marketing Group’s giving portfolio, and co-founded the Joel Setzen Memorial Endowment at Benedictine University. Brian is a working dad to Annette and Edmund who most days don’t know exactly what their father does, but occasionally get to see him in action on the stage, in the studio, or at the office.
